What are your department's Day-to-Day responsibilities to the citizens of Webster County?
The Webster County Commissioners has many administrative duties for the county. Several of these duties include setting tax levies, appropriating county funds, appointing board members & trustees of special services, accounting for county property, maintaining county roads & bridges and performing miscellaneous duties not handled by other county officials.
Future Goals and Plans for your department:
To lead Webster County through the 21st century.
To help bring jobs to the Webster County through the newly formed Enhanced Enterprise Zone (EEZ), there are many opportunities to have new jobs created in the County. We would also like to continue to build good working relationships with cities in Webster County, so that the county and the cities can grow and prosper, as so that the citizens that we serve can reach their fullest potential . Create the most effective Emergency Management in the State to continue to protect and serve our citizens of the county in the time of need.
To take care of Webster County today for tomorrows needs and future generations.
